Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a pair of siblings reported as runaways.

Both 15-year-old Shanden Kalahiki and 11-year-old Shaiyah Kalakihi were last seen at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday on Kuhio Drive in Ainaloa Estates subdivision in Pahoa.

Both are described as Hawaiian/Filipino, and Shaiyah is considered endangered because of her age.

Shanden is about 5-feet-5-inches tall, 130 pounds, with a slim build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes.

Shaiyah is about 5-feet-4-inches tall, 110 pounds, with a slim build, black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved T-shirt with white sleeves, black shorts, and black Crocs.

Police ask anyone with information on their whereabouts to call the police department’s nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
